We’ll be putting on a number of exciting displays and demonstrations for you to enjoy. Cheesemaking, cooking demonstrations and sheep shearing are just a few of the activities our visitors have enjoyed in previous years.
If you're interested in farm machinery, you'll have the chance to view and ride our latest tractors and trailers. Over-25s will be able to get behind the wheel and take part in a Tractor Driving Experience.
Activities
Animal zone – meet our lambs, tortoises and rabbits and watch a sheep shearing demonstration. We’ll take you on a tractor ride on a farm tour, including a visit to our milking parlour and cowsheds. You’ll even get to have a go at milking a prosthetic cow!
Kids zone – keep the little ones entertained with various arts, crafts and face painting.
Food zone – grab a bite to eat from our BBQ and cool off with a Lovington’s ice cream. We’ll be creating a comfy picnic area for you to layout your tartan rug – perfect for taking a break while relaxing on our beautiful rural campus.
Machinery zone – experience tractor rides and drive around an ATV circuit. Watch a machinery demo up-close and look around our Claas workshop. Get up close with a number of machinery dealership vehicles.
About Open Farm Sunday

LEAF is dedicated to improving the agriculture industry through integrated farming. The nationwide celebration has been very successful, attracting over half a million visitors in the past.
With each farm running a unique event with different activities, animals and displaying the various types of work they do, no two Open Farm Sundays are the same.
