Get involved

As a volunteer, you can help promote Hartpury and share your experiences with both current and prospective students. You can also help alumni connect with each other by holding reunions and establishing community groups.

Volunteering is an opportunity to remain an active part of Hartpury life and offer support to keep the student experience going. There are many ways in which you can support Hartpury, whether it's your time or industry experience, we really value any support you can offer. Below are just some of the ways you can get involved, if you have any questions, please contact us.

International referral programme

Do you have friends or family around the world who would like to study at Hartpury?

The International Referral Programme (IRP) is designed to recognise and reward graduates with £500 for referring international students by sharing their experiences and the benefits of undertaking study at Hartpury College and Hartpury University with people they know within their networks.

Careers support

As a Hartpury alumnus, you form a key part of inspiring future generations with your story, especially those who will study similar subjects to yourselves. Could you offer careers advice and help nurture the future talent in your industry?

There are numerous opportunities for you to come back and visit Hartpury to attend one of the many careers workshops, talks, presentations, and networking sessions held throughout the academic year. Get in touch for more information on how you can support our students' future.

Represent Hartpury

We're looking for recent leavers to represent Hartpury at recruitment events, open days and offer holder events. Email alumni@hartpury.ac.uk if you can support us by sharing your positive memories and experiences with prospective students and inspire the next generation.

If you're unable to represent Hartpury at events, we'd still love to hear from you and share your experience of Hartpury and your career journey since. Please complete the form below to share your story and inspire our current and prospective students, helping them make decisions about their study choices and next steps.

Grow your alumni community

We'd like to establish alumni-led community groups – such as international networking groups, equestrian, agriculture, sport and animal groups, as well as specific years of study – which will become the centre point to share news, organise reunions and reminisce about old times!

If you are interested in volunteering to help grow a specific alumni group by establishing interest and identifying other alumni who might benefit from our free membership, please contact the Alumni Team at alumni@hartpury.ac.uk

Organise an event

Any member of the Hartpury alumni community can help organise an event to connect with more people for social or professional purposes. Reunions are a great chance to re-connect old friendships and can be organised for particular year groups, sports teams, geographical locations or professions. We can support you to organise your own reunion please get in touch for for more information.
