We were delighted to welcome alumni back on campus to celebrate their 50th anniversary year. It was a brilliant day filled with laughter, memories, and catching up with old friends.
The day kicked off with a tour of Hartpury campus, giving everyone the chance to see just how much has changed over the years. A real highlight was visiting Hartpury Farm, where alumni were shown the latest technology in action. Farm Manager, Dan Evans, and Ben Thompson, Head of Projects and Business Engagement (Agriculture), gave a fantastic talk about the new innovations in farming and how Hartpury has developed over the years.
After the tour, everyone enjoyed a tasty lunch in the Equine Restaurant, with plenty of time for reminiscing and chatting about the good old days. The day wrapped up with drinks overlooking the equine arena, where we watched the exciting conclusion of a show jumping competition— the perfect way to end the day.
It really was a fantastic day spent sharing stories and memories, and we’re so grateful to our alumni for coming back to celebrate this milestone. Here's to many more reunions and happy memories in the future!
