We’re thrilled to announce the success of our recent Alumni Clay Pigeon Shoot Day, which reached full capacity and proved to be a hit with participants. Thanks to the generous support of the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), Hartpury alumni and business partners enjoyed an action-packed day on campus.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome and breakfast rolls, setting the tone for the day. Alumni, whether novice or seasoned shooters, were able to try their hand at clay pigeon shooting, with traps set up for all skill levels. BASC coaches were on hand to provide top-tier guidance, ensuring everyone had a great time, regardless of experience.
After the morning of shooting, attendees gathered for a complimentary lunch at the Agri-Tech Centre, where they also had the chance to explore Hartpury Farm. It was a fantastic opportunity to see how our students refine their agricultural skills using cutting-edge technology, including VR headsets and tractor simulators.
The success of the Clay Pigeon Shoot Day reflects the growing popularity of alumni events at Hartpury, and we’re already looking forward to hosting more exciting opportunities for our alumni and business partners in the future. If you missed out this time, be sure to join us next year for another great day!
